While everyone else is busy vacationing, our church music ministry is busy with our summer music workshop. We invited interested learners for an all summer event of learning various musical instruments. We were not expecting a big turn out – so we were surprised to find that we filled up two rooms with students! Most students were interested in learning the guitar, but there were also those interested in Drums and Piano.
By God’s grace we are able to attend to all of them – thanks to the efforts of our team. Although tiring and time consuming, I take comfort in knowing that somehow these students will become more aware of the arts – specifically music – and hopefully also find the connection to the Ultimate Source of music who I’m sure is busy watching over their shoulders.
